Admission and screening of residents requires and receives careful consideration. Typically, the potential resident is involved in a treatment process and communication between the treatment facility and the resident’s parents is crucial. By contacting the resident’s current caregiver, we are able to evaluate the appropriateness of the individual for our facility. After and through consultation a decision will be made on whether to proceed with a phone interview. It is important we do our best to make sure we are a healthy equivalent for the resident’s recovery needs. Parents are invited to visit the facility prior to admission or to call anytime to request information or an improved description. After the phone interview with the potential resident and if admission is accepted, arrangements will be made to proceed. We are an experienced program with the ability to treat young men who have completed inpatient treatment, or individuals who may need inpatient treatment. We provide a comprehensive treatment approach that can accommodate inpatient needs. Our success comes from a qualified staff that has worked all levels of care.
Costs and Insurance Coverage details can be overwhelming. We don't accept insurance as funding but we do help the parents recover monies from their insurance companies, sometimes up to over 80%. We are able to send forms and detailed information to insurance companies as an aid to parents in recovering a large portion of the cost of Alternative Youth Care. Most parents will receive some sort of support from their insurance company.
